2014 swingarm question

It should physically fit as the frames should all be the same, but I know Kawasaki changed the chain adjusting system so the axle might be different as well. You might also run into a problem where the rear brake mount is different.
If you can get one cheap it might be worth trying, but without the other associated parts it may not be a 1:1 swap.

Rear brake carrier fits. I'm running an earlier brake carrier on my 2009 with the smaller 06-08 rear rotor. I'm betting all will bolt up as far as the pivot, but not sure about suspension linkage. You' have to look up some part numbers to verify fits. Go to Partzilla and look up the linkage, the hardware matches the hole sizes are the same, if the link numbers match it all plugs in.
You can fit the later model brake carrier and run the later model rotor, otherwise if you run the earlier version rotor you need the older model carrier. There is a 20mm difference in rotor diameters. I noticed my rear brake caliper was sitting too far up on my rotor, so I got one of the earlier carriers and it bolted together perfect, now the caliper has full sweep of the rotor.

So, if I understand KLX678 correctly, If i use my 06 caliber with my 06 rotor It should be fine as far as the brakes are concerned. I'm not too terribly concerned about the rear axle. The adjusters are part of the reasons for the swap.
Looks like the dog bones are different, but i don't see anything else here.

What I'm saying, that cannot be seen in the diagram, is if the bolts/bushing part numbers in full, that attach the swing arm to the linkage, match up the swing arm will bolt in.
I already know the caliper set up will work, since I have the 06 caliper/carrier on my 09 the 09 caliper/carrier will work on the earlier model.

2006-2008 dogbones are 117 mm and 09 and up dogbones are 119.5.
I am still running 09 dogbones on my 06 to lower the ride height and have had no problems.
