A few updates since I last posted.

1. I'm happy with the Barker exhaust, but had two additional issues with fitment. First the wider pipe up stream of the silencer was making contact with the forward nylon guide that secures the brake line to the swing arm at full shock compression. I cut the top of the guide off and ran some zip ties under it to secure the brake line and reduce the height and that worked. I put some heat resistant tape around the brake line just in case.

2. The right rear turn signal had enough flex that it would bounce on hard hits and contact the down turned exit of the silencer. Not a big deal until the original and then a replacement signal bulb failed. I had wanted to modernize the look, so I installed a set of LEDs. To do this I got a cheap set of 4 flexible leds off ebay, four HB 050-2 female connectors with pins from CycleTerminal, and a LED flash relay off ebay (Planet Bolts SKU: 40-900). I then 3D printed my own adaptor brackets.

Other than that I did drop one tooth from stock on the counter sprocket to make hill climbs easier and I'm happy with the results.

I'm still running the stock handlebars for now, but put on new full waffle grips for better comfort and added outlaw risers which have multiple spacers so you can tune in the height.

Just took it out on a four day trip and it's a fun way to hit some remote areas.
