2012 KLX250S Dyno Tuning with Stock Header+DGR Slipon
#21
I'm afraid this wraps up my dyno testing with MCM, Slipon, lidless, near sea level. There are enough members verifying DJ140/2N as best power from off idle to redline to bring an end to the need for further testing. My last chart verifies proper top end fueling with the DJ140 and 2N keeps the low and mid range fueling proper as well...
So to sum up - If you are running a good slip-on or a uncorked KLX300R muffler, with MCM (or perhaps not?), you should pull your airbox lid, install the DJ 2152 kit for stage 2 using 2N on the needle and a DJ140 main jet if you are near sea level.
If you are higher than about 1500 ft, you should calculate the main jet size based off a DJ140 at sea level..
If you are already running these mods with stage 2, you should try this setup to enjoy the "biggy" HP and TRQ you'll get above 7K RPM..
Fuel mileage is reported to be the same or better than standard stage 2.
