I got these plastics direct from Kawasaki Phuket. I can't imagine the side panels cost any more!! Don't know the prices in the rest of the world but I think it's pretty damn cheap here

Damn those prices are DIRT cheap, in the UK for example just for 1 side panel in black it costs around £96 inc vat, that's around 4,739.76 THB.
I will be stocking up on parts once i arrive in Thailand, it's shocking how much Kawasaki charge for pieces of plastic here in the UK.

Yeah I have had the same experience re import tax. Sometimes none and other times hit heavy even with a lower value on the package. I'm going to use mine for now mainly offroad so I will change the gearing and see how desperate after that I am regarding the big bore. It will defiantly take place but maybe I can wait until xmas time. I know you have webcams but do you have any experience with the cam mod here in the stickys? I'm 50/50 on trying it.
I'm also looking to get some d-tracker wheels, never had a motard before and it looks like fun I only weigh 65kg so I don't think I need any suspension changes.
Must be fun on them mountain roads down there
