And yep not expecting any noticeable power difference, I just want to make sure that I'm not running lean with a pipe / airbox mod.

Cheers
My little box of tricks from KK was delivered to my shop door (to my surprise) with NO import duty. My friend had his BB kit sent to my shop address & got hit with 2700thb duty bill. It's a roll of the dice at my local post office!!

If i hadn't done the big bore i would have sold the bike for sure, as the 250 is very underpowered on the streets BUT pretty good on the dirt btw. Mine is now a 331 Motard & good fun on the streets now, as 30% more power is a major upgrade!

Yeah I have had the same experience re import tax. Sometimes none and other times hit heavy even with a lower value on the package. I'm going to use mine for now mainly offroad so I will change the gearing and see how desperate after that I am regarding the big bore. It will defiantly take place but maybe I can wait until xmas time. I know you have webcams but do you have any experience with the cam mod here in the stickys? I'm 50/50 on trying it.

I'm also looking to get some d-tracker wheels, never had a motard before and it looks like fun I only weigh 65kg so I don't think I need any suspension changes.

Must be fun on them mountain roads down there

At 65kg with a 13T sprocket, your gonna have fun on the dirt!! I'm a 105kg & that makes a huge difference on a small capacity bike. I've riden a few modded 250's quite recently & boy my 331 kicks *** in comparison.

I really enjoyed riding with the 13T for back street hooliganism but the bike ran out of steam on the faster roads at 120kmh(ish) with to much high revving. Front wheel is back on the ground a lot more now with the stock 14T back on!

Don't be cursing me for not delivering mind blowing performance, it will be a very subtle mix of stronger/smoother power with less deceleration exhaust popping & a slightly cooler running engine, from being a few % richer!!

If your on google searching try Lambda 02 oxygen simulator, which the eliminator is sometimes called.

KK331 cost me 23000thb all in delivered last year. The old argument of wet or dry sleeve lining - Nicasil coated or not etc etc

The Bill Blue is a much cheaper option especially if you send him your old jug to get your core charge back.
Two 330ohm resistors that is the way i will go. I guess i am Kee-nee-ouw. I looked at this mod on dtrackerthailand but it was for the 125. I wonder if different values will go richer or leaner...

Thanks for the link Yankee99. I have seen the wheels sell for 12,000-20,000 so thats about right.

I think I will also go the 2 resistor way, now off to try and find a shop that sells resistors!

Are you going to order the 300 kit?

Bangkok, I can't free up the time to go out today but I will hopefully over the weekend.

I found the thread that I think you was talking about ทำรถหัวฉีดให้ประหยัดน้ำมันขึ้น และ แอบแรงขึ้นในราคาไม่เกิน 10 บาทครับ maybe that can be of use to someone.

Cheers

@yankee99

I've got a KLX 250 in black and was looking to replace some of the plastics due to light scratches, i'm aware that these bikes are made in Thailand so was wondering if you knew any place either in Bangkok or online that sell them, obviously i can get them from my Kawasaki dealer here in London but the prices for a piece of plastic are just insane and as everything in Thailand is dirt cheap i thought it was worth an ask as i'll be spending Christmas over there?

Thanks for any advice, also if you know approx costs for side panels etc that would be helpful too.
