2010 KLX250SF Suspension
Well I have searched high and low and there isn't that much info out there for aftermarket fork springs for a 2010 KLX250SF. I emailed John at Moto Pro and he said he could get me a set made but I just wanted to check other options.
The 2009 service manual says the free length of the S is 412.3mm and the SF is 387.3mm, so the difference is about an inch.
I'm wondering if an aftermarket spring for the S version wouldn't bee too bad in the SF at only an inch longer ... What do you guys think?
My next question is, which fork springs fit the 2009/10 KLX250S? I checked the Racetech site and the springs seem quite a bit too long even for the S version. I guess while I'm at it, which rear spring works too? I can't seem to find any that state they will fit the SF version.

Can't help you with the specifics on the SF, but CannonRacecraft will make you whatever you want. You'll have to call them, and the KLX parts are made to order so it takes a couple weeks, but you can get exactly what you want. It looks like they list the S and SF as the same parts.
Again S model specific.... but I have personally used on my '09 KLX250S:
Racetech's fork springs - FRSP 3840
CannonRacecrafts fork springs - 38416
DSP Shock Spring 6.6 kg/mm KX125 KX250 KX450F KX250F - from Ebay... they don't seem to have any listed right now.
Gold valves:
Forks - Race Tech FMGV 2040 (Racetech recommends the FMGV 2001 and only gives you shim stack suggestions for that part number, but the FMGV 2040 fits and works just fine.)
Shock - Race Tech - SMGV 4402
EDIT: The issue with documentation on the fork gold valves is that when you plug your serial number into their calculator, it will give you valving for only the FMGV 2001. The valve stack numbers they gave me didn't match the FMGV 2040 chart I had, so I had to dig around and cross reference two or three sources to make an educated guess on which stack I needed. The serial number is one-time use, so you don't get a second chance (print your results because you won't see them again...lol).
Doesn't answer your question, but maybe will help a little....

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I just wanted to post that John from Moro pro said the stock spring rate for the 09/10 KLX250SF is 1.10kg/mm. I hadn’t seen this info posted elsewhere so I wanted to add it to this thread, because this thread is one of the first hits for “klx250sf fork springs”.
He also said custom order springs would be $175 and take about three weeks to arrive.
