I can't believe it wouldn't fit but they are different part numbers. Is it a rear or is it a front? Are they including the axle? Get the seller to take some measurements for you and if the dimensions are the same it should work.

I would take mine off and mount these to test, but mine is an 01 model D-Tracker, and I don't have access to an 06 model to test.
The sale is for both wheels, with tires and rear sprocket, no axles or rotors.

The wheel I'm talking about is a single front OEM wheel on Ebay. It's from an 09. Doesn't matter, I'm going to bid on the Supermoto rims that come with tires and everything. When I add up a set of new tires, rim strips, tubes, and a front rim to repair my wobble I'll end up spending just as much.

i'd be surprised if it didn't fit. Kawasaki is relatively small and uses as many parts for m utiple bikes and multiple years as it can. I have an '06 too and use a set of rims from a 96 Kdx 200 for my street riding. Also i use a Kdx 47 tooth sprocket on my stock klx rim.

Keep in mind folks they changed the brakes from Nissin to whomever makes the new wavy-rotor BS design. The offset from the centerline could be different. But why not go for it? You can always sell it yourself if it doesn't work. Please let us know....

Well the wheel came in a few days ago. Excited about mounting my new(used) 09 wheel I got up early and started taking things apart. Old wheel came off no problem. I compared the 2 side by side for differences. Everything is identical except...
Brake disc - new one is shaped different
speedo hub contact area - very different
I mounted the new wheel and discovered it was an exact fit. The only thing that worries me is the speedo hub and the different configuration of notches on the new hub. I drove it around the block a few times only to discover the brake disc is warped and will not be useable in its current state. This will wear my pads out in no time.
I'm going to take both wheels apart and use the new rim, spokes, and nipples on my old hub. Now I gotta just wait for my parts to arrive. I ordered a set of Kenda tires and tire irons to get the job done.
