Default 2009 rear brake pad hanging after wheel removed

I took the rear wheel off to get a new tire. I noticed the inner brake pad is hanging down out of position . Is there a way to put this end back in the caliper without taking it apart?

If the ear on the pad backing plate isn't in the slot on the mounting bracket then I think that the only way to get enough movement would require taking the wheel/rotor off. I assume that you must have slid the caliper on it's mounting pins while the wheel was off-that's really the only way that the pad could come out.

Ya, I slid the caliper back off the swing arm to see how it attached. I guess i shouldn't have done that. I guess i just loosen the pin and put the shoe back in.
