Has less than 1500 miles total. 700 miles on 351. No mechanical issues. New wider footpegs, rear rack, breakaway clutch lever, red radiator hoses, smog stuff gone and screen cut out. No oil leakage. Lowered front and rear for shorter rider. Rear has an adjustable Kouba type link. In front the fork tubes are shoved up. Red and black. Heavy duty aluminum skid plate. Any ideas on its worth? I'm in so cal.
I am not jumping the KLX ship but I couldn't locate a street legal KLX 450 R but I do have a line on a 2006 450 CRFX that is street legal, and no, I cant afford a KTM.

 

$2500. $3000 to $3500 if you’re lucky.

Just a side note. If you’re planning on riding a lot of street the High Strung 4 strokes do not like to stay at a constant rpm.

 

I'd say 2500.00 if you want to sell it before Feb 1st. 3000.00 if you want to sell it by March 1st. 3500.00 if you want to sell it by April 15th.

Give or take 6 months.

You can ask any price you want but if you want it to sell anytime soon 3k is about it. Remember farkles don't add to the price of a bike. Best sold alone.

 

If you can afford a 450 CRFx, you can afford a KTM

 

I got an 06 CRFX for $3250 with AZ plates that had 53 miles on it that I can drive in Cal until I am busted. The advantage for the Honda is that I know it can be lowered.
