depends.. has alot of new parts on it and a fresh 351 top end. besides I lowered to 2,200. if it doesnt sell so be it.



Bike has 26000 miles on it and itruns like a champ. Was running great when I upgraded to the 351BB (bill Blue Kit).
351 is fresh installed with close to 100 miles on it.

added IMS Pro Footpegs.

3 inch motion pro Clutch and throttle cables,

3 inch 7/8 to 2 1 1/8h powermadd risers

protaper pastrana 1 1/8th bars

acerbis 3.7 gallon tank

fmf q4 Pipe.

rear rack

Brand new read t63
brand new front dunlop d739 front tire

have a 5 inch braided stainless steel front brake line not installed yet.

Brand new Front/Rear sprocket. geared 15/45 with a brand new 13tooth front not installed

Ricochet aluminum skidplate in great condition (not pictured removed doing oil change and have not put back on yet)

still have stock tank and plastics.

also have a set of 1994 kx250 forks and wheel that goes with bike if you want to upgrade forks down the line.

OK, noob here so consider the source, but it would seem that you could pull all the upgrades and sell the stock bike for close to what the modded bike will fetch, then sell off the aftermarket parts. Of course if you used your top end as a core for the BB kit that would involve finding a stock top end. Also, no idea how much work is involved in tearing that BB top end back off... Anyway, just a thought since I think a lot of used bike buyers are wary of modded bikes.

similar clean one sold in san francisco area for almost $4,000 with 8,800 miles *SOLD* 2009 KLX250S 330 cc Dual Sport - BARF - Bay Area Riders Forum ...and, maybe it might be a good idea to copy and paste everything from adv over here too...not all people have access to adv (i don't)
