2009 klx250s rims and tires on 2014 klx250s
Hey guys I currently own a 2014 KLX 250S that I purchased a while back and would like to make a super Moto build using a spare set of tires and rims. I did stumble across this post for $600 which includes the front and rear however I’m not sure if it’s missing anything and if it will be a direct fit for my 2014 as it’s coming from a 2009 klx250s.
I would like to have a spare complete Set So I can have a direct bolt on kit for off-road and one for street use whenever I feel like swapping them out.
Does this it looks like it would need anything else or would this be a direct fit.
I was debating on getting a brand new warp nine set however I would like to keep my budget under $1000 is there any other alternative ways I could get a complete super Moto set for a 2014 KLX250s.
I was debating on getting some OEM used rims on Facebook marketplace and just getting the tires but not sure if that would be recommended.
Any advice or tips is appreciated.

The wheels should swap out if they fit the 2009, same basic forks and swing arm. The only question is the speedo drive on the hub, if it will work with the '14 drive, which it probably will. Those rims and spokes are worth $600. Probably a 99% chance of fit, but also a 99% chance your speedo will be off, so you have to remember that and figure out the speed differences. If it was me I'd buy them if close enough for pick up, shipping might be fairly pricey.

Hey thanks for the reply.
How off would the speedo be and any fix?
how much works this set be brand new or how much is this worth with the hubs and etc.
For the swap I’d like to be able to place the bike on try me stand and do a direct swap w/o having to move anything from one set of tires to another.
Is this complete or would it need anything else (fairly new to bikes)
$600 is including the shipping as well.

There are some speed adjusters, but I've never had to deal with it, so I don't know how it would be done. You are getting a steal at $600, I'd buy them at that price including shipping. If you don't get them let me know.
Rims are around $200+ for each of the front and back. Spoke sets run $90 for each wheel, labor to lace them will probably be around the same, Hubs are as much as $400 each.
So you're looking at $400/rims + $180 for spokes + $500 for hubs (or more). As you see, $600 is a great deal especially knowing the hubs will fit. Then there is around $400 for tires.
Like I said, let me know if you don't buy them, I will. Send me a PM with the link.
