Nope not normal.
I'm still on my original battery and mines an 06.

Sounds like something is wrong with the charging circuit and that sounds like a warranty thing.

Good luck with it and welcome to KF.

Not normal unless your accidentally leaving the key on when you park it.
Dealer should cover that under warranty .

As for gearing.
Drop 1 tooth from the front sprocket is a good start. 14 - 13.
And its cheap.

Do some searches.
There is a mountain of info to be found.

I think he meant gear as in what to wear. LOL Welcome to the forums man, the battery should never go dead unless you leave the key on. Do you have a battery maintainer? Also check the battery connections, if they are lose, it will cause major problems.

he said gearing deej old boy, as Neil said 13 tooth is a good place to start. Mine is an 06 as well still on the OEM battery, so there is a problem with yours that needs fixing.

mines at the dealer for battery issues. it was charging at 14v, but in the morning i would go to start it and it would turn over good for about the first two revolutions, then it would crank real slow. they told me that they had a special charger that is supposed to bring them back to life but i think its BS. i should hear from them today.

Yeah definitely something wrong there. Warranty should cover the issue. At least it better!
