2009 klx not running properly, keeps dying on me.
Hoping y'all can help me out, I have searched a bit to no real avail. I have an 09 klx 250s, two brothers exhaust, DJ kit, air filter and smog removed. It had been running fine, then it sat in the garage for a couple months, fuel seems fine, it starts up with choke on and will idle. When I roll on the throttle it dies at about 3000 rpm, if I roll on it really slowly it will go on a bit but seems to stumble around 3000-3500 rpm.
I am unsure as to what jets have been in installed, as they were installed by the previous owner. It did run fine prior to sitting, has never been downed and only really ridden on street.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, don't want to start tearing the carb apart if there is another issue.

Easy. Carburetor needs cleaned. One or more of the small orifices are gummed up from modern day crappy gasoline. You can take the carb off and use some gumout or other solvent in a spray can to clean all of the orifices/passageways or buy some Seafoam and add to a small amount of fresh gas in your fuel tank. Start bike until some of the newly mixed gasoline gets in the carb and let sit. Repeat. It will dissolve the gunk, eventually.
I would prefer to remove the carb and use the aerosol cleaner though. Either method will work.
