Search Dynojet kit and jetting. All the answers you'll need. Welcome to the forum BTW. Where you from?

Default +1 on welcome to the forum!

just about anything you can imagine being done to the 250 engine, has been, search the forum.

When it comes to jetting just make sure your fellow forum member's bike is being run at approx. the same elevation you are at. The other big factors will be aftermarket exhaust and a K&N air filter (vs. stock or aftermarket foam) - the K&N is much less restrictive. If you can find someone who rides in your elevation "range" with a slip-on muffler and a K&N you're 95% done.

Hey thanks ALot for the welcome... From Menifee,CA.
Ok sounds, ill look into it. I bought my 2009 Kawasaki KLX250SF in El Paso,TX when i was down there cause i got a great deal, only pay $49 a month and doesnt have the smog thing in it... it was jetted for an elevation 3970ft and here in CA is around 1200ft and it runs better here than there and i didnt do any work to the carbs..But thanks for your help.. ill post up some pics soon of my bike.
