Its not BAD per se, its definately better than the plugged up 250 exhaust. But the header will still be a limiting factor.

I looked into a 300 exhaust but the prices were more than i wanted to spend so i am putting that money towards a full aftermarket system and modded my stocker to flow more.

Is the spark arrester still intact?

 

It would have been, but i had already drilled a hole through the spark arrester previous to putting the new end cap on . the way i did this mod keeps the arrester intact otherwise.

I don't ride where an arrester is required but it would be easy enough to add some mesh screening inside of my new endcap to make one should it ever need to.

Muzzy some time soon i hope, but 351 kit is first.

 

That will teach me not to go a week without checking out the latest posts on here again. I have a powerbomb header for a KLX 250 and stock KLX 300 can I would have gladly gotten rid of as a pair. Had the the header pipe expanded at my local muffler shop to fit nicely over the mid-pipe. Now it just sits on the shelf.

Always a dollar short and a day late. Oh well, I still have enough in my pocket to fill the tank and go for a short ride!
