muzzy,2brothers,FMF,hmf,staintune. there's probably more but these are the one that we all use. go to the fmf website and you'll find a couple that fit. don't get too caught up with the year though. 06 and 07 are the same bike.

Parts unlimited has the part #s for the complete FMF in the Offroad catalog now,I have it on my bike and looks and sounds great. My q4 was $349. and the header was $199. it's pricey but makes the bike sound like a bike now

I had the two brothers on mine and it sounded great. changed the maing to a 135 or 140 i cant remember now. i think i put in the the 140, and 40 on the pilot, replaced stock needle with n1tc needle on second clip and drlled venturi. no airbox lid and did the crankcase mod and removed smog crap. also changed the gear ratio. went down one in the front and i think i went up 5 in the back. these things really woke the bike up and if u are new u will notice these are the tipical mods. I sold my klx when i got my street bike and i wish i would have kept it. it was a blast.

HMF Fits
I agree, there is a wealth of information on this site regarding exhaust options, both manufactured and "hybrids". Most of it boils down to how much you want to spend and how much much "horse power" you want -but everything I've seen, seems to indicate that the HP gains between each of the options is not significant. I went middle of the road with an HMF slip on with the quiet core insert (Total $250 + shipping) and more than anything, it sounds great! This combined with the required jet/ carb changes make the KLX a real nice bike.

How loud
I will be getting sound level readings for the stock VS the HMF with and without the QC insert -just have not had the time -I had hoped to do it labor day weekend, but instead went to camp in the Adirondacks.
I promise to post the levels, which I'm doing to a test standard for comparision - there is a specific distance, angle and RPM.
I may be get a chance to bring my bike to work Thursday to get the numbers.
