There is a 2007 klx250s in my area selling for 3k with only 360 miles. Excellent condition. I checked KBB and their estimate is $2,745. What do you think is a fair price for this bike and what should I offer?

Seems like a steal to me with only 360 miles!

 

If that bike looks like a true 360 mile total bike, grab it up for that price. Do you have any facts about why the bike only has that mileage? It's worth trying to negotiate the price down, of course, but it would be worth 3K if the condition fits the alleged mileage. I'm very fond of all KLX250's, but if you're decently serious about going to some decently rough off road, the design of the '06-'07 models is more like the pure off road KLX300. It has 11" of travel, and you can use a lot of the suspension stuff from the 300 on the 250. I'd just be very careful about verifying the condition and mileage as much as possible.

 

That low a mileage could have it's disadvantages. If you buy it I'd suggest changing the oil/oil filter and doing a brake fluid flush soonest. Machines are meant to be used, just sitting around doesn't do them any good.
But a '07 with that mileage is a no brainer to jump on it.

as noted already , if it truly has only 360 miles on it , it has sat for most of its life. Plan on some basic maintenance. fluids maybe tires, battery???
Sounds like a great deal , if the bike looks to be in good shape, I would offer $2500, if they dont like that, show them the Kelly BB price $2700, and offer that, if they still wont go for that , give them the 3k.
