On road / off road. No modifications. 1900 miles. Excellent condition. 70-80 mpg on the road. The plastic has a few scratches, but they're very light. Great looking and performing bike. I'm looking to buy a bigger bike, otherwise I would just keep this. I'll throw in the helmet for $50 if interested. Added: Oh yeah, $3900is the price. I forgot that, and also, I'm in Michigan.

Which break in method did you use?

 

I just put a new set of Trackmasters on it. So, it now has new tires.

 

FYI, here's a 2007 with 430 miles and an FMF pipe on ebay. Should give you an idea on market price for a low miles 2007 model.

I'm not really sure what tosay I guess. Two months ago I paid $5,100 (out the door) for this thing, and I'm just looking for more power. The bike that you pulled up on ebay is at $3,207, it's reserve has not yet been met, and it still has three days left. So, I don't think I'm too far off. I'm assuming someone would talk me down a couple hundredand get this bike for ~$3,700 or so. Modifications are not selling features to me. Perhaps you guys feel differently about it. It seems as though people who modify their bikes are mostly looking for more power which really means they ride hard. Why wouldsomeone want a bike that's been ridden like that. It'ssimilar tobuying alate modelCamaro with abolt-on supercharger and a brand new set of rear tires, stupid.

As for the mileage, the only reason it's high is that I drive it to work when it's not raining. Ninety percent of the miles are from the highway. I wish I could get to more dirt, but it's difficult when you live near a big shhit holecity. I bought the bike to ride to work and go off road when I can.

I just wanted to write this to clear up a few things about the bike and my intentions. If you guys still think I'm out of line, let me know. I assumed I wouldn't be selling the bike to anyone who gets on this forum considering it's for KLX owners, but I thought someone possibly has a friend who might be interested. If so, pass it on.

I think your price is fair. $5100 was kinda high though. Have you considered the trade in route? Did you do the Easy break-in or the Motoguy one? I'll definitely ask around for buyers for you.

 

Thank you. I thought it was fair also. The $5,100 included the bike, dealer delivery fee, taxes, title, (maybe some other fees also)and the helmet. I wasn't really hard on the bike at first, but it's difficult to stay under 4000 rpm. I think that was like 40mph or something. I still don't really ride it that hard. Mostly road riding, 80-90% I'm ashamed to say.
