Did my KLX come with a Keihin 32CVK carb or a 34?
I'm trying to get a quick / handy mixture screw adjustment but they all seem to be for 34 & 36 Keihin CVK carbs.
When I got the bike a couple of weeks ago, it was a dog and the thing wouldn't idol down.
I put a big gun pipe on.
Got a dynojet kit and put the new needle on (4) with the 132 jet, turned the mixture screw to DJ recoomnedation, took the airbox cover off and noticed it came alive.
It's much better but I think I need a 38 or 40 pilot jet, maybe adjust the float bowl.
I still have a little bit of the high idol problem (maybe the pilot 38-40 pilot jet will help with that...
So, I'm hoping you can confirm what carb I have so I can buy the right mixture screw? Maybe send a link to the correct screw (with the ****)
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
DPMJ

Verifying float level is always the first thing to check before making any jetting changes.
