2006 KLX Brake light help

Might have shorted something and blew the main fuse. I would check that before you pay a shop $80 an hour to replace a fuse.

Could you describe what you were doing with the brake light circuit that blew the main fuse?

Wow.... something must have went really wrong..... what did you do? I usually dont disconnect the battery at all when im doing things like that. You probably blew the main fuse.

Well I was following the instructions that the guy that posted earlyier and got the bright idea to test to make sure all the components I took apart still worked. Well I dropped the two pieces that completed the circuit onto something metal and blew the fuse. What a rookie mistake! but we all learn!

Well I better update just in case someone was wondering. I finally got the bike back from the shop a couple days ago, they replaced the main fuse. They fixed the brake light staying on, they claimed it was a spring that wasn't right in the front brake (never would've thought that haha). So I escaped with a $30.00 bill. I went yesterday to take my test and I passed! I am finally a Kansas licensed motorcycle driver.
Now my next question what exhaust would you guys recommend? I want a little more noise, but don't want to spend a lot (under 400 hopefully)
Thanks!

$30 from the dealer is CHEAP!
I can reccomend the FMF Q4. It is one of the quieter ones out there, but it still makes some noise. A nice throaty thump. Mine just tested 91 db at the last DS ride I was at. Over 96 db and you don't get to ride the event !!
Overly loud exhausts are one of the things that turn the non-riding public against the off road crowd. You wouldn't care if your neighbor was listening to his stereo at midnight, but If he had it cranked all the way up, you , and your neighbors, would be on the phone to the cops. In the case of off road riding, noise complaints help close areas to riding.
