Got it home and man, it is loud. Wasnt expecting it to be quite that loud hehe. Definately going to need a tip to quieten it down..

Question does it seem louder when you or riding it or when say it rides past you?

Much louder when you're on it. I've let buddies ride my bike and as they ride away I always think "man sure seems louder when I'm on it" but it adds a nice power sound to the bike for sure.

Well thats good i have been watching people as i ride past and no looks of shock so maybe it's not all that bad.

Incidently I am very impressed with the extra power. I have it geared for the bush and it really moves in comparison to stock.

Thinking about going back to stock gearing as I can get it to about 125kms (77kms)as it is but its really revving to get that.

I am running airbox lid off and dynajet.

Next on the list is the 300 kit.

Go with the P3 tip. It is the most quiet and fits with the spark arrestor with no gap.

Damm,

I bought the P4 thinking it was the quietest of the group & I failed to read about the spark arrestor being able to be used with the P3 tip & never even gave it a thought. All my parts are sitting in the shipping box. When I installed the P4 tip I see it leaves a big gap, so I left it out. I may have to see if I can get some fine mesh ss screen & make my own spark arrestor.

Is there a noticable performance decrease with the p3 tip?
