todj2002, did you have the q2 for the klx? Why didn't you use it?

 

2k1w=no$. the add was misleading. the q2 does not fit the 250 i was not happy, but now in hindsight i am glad. i like the looks of the two brothers alot more and it fit perfect. i believe they have a q2 for the 250 now though. i heard it was supposed to come out the end of last month.

 

What didn't you like about the q2, I have been thinking about getting one and using the fsw 300 header. I am a little weary about spending all that money on a slipon though.

 

what i did not like about the q2 is it did not fit. it did not line up with any of the bolt holes and i does not fit the head pipe. i read from another person here it does not fit the fsw pipe either unless you do some mods. i personally am all for mods to make it work but i have to tell you the two brothers made a great difference in performance and looks. probably would not take much to make a difference compared to the stock exhaust but i could not be happier. i have posted some pics already but i will try to find them and post more for you to see.

i have an idea on how to make a larger head pipe fit the two brothers, its only metal. seems to me you could do a little modding and make it work.
check out the two brothers site. it has a dyno chart. i get alot of decel popping but that is to be expected until you do some jetting.

 

Thats correct, when you jett and get your fuel/air mixture adjusted you will be fine. I have no decel popping or any other problems with my setup.

So what elevation are you at JB1?

Have you checked the plug to see if its lean?

If I kept the stock pilot but went with a larger mainjet would there be a problem?

I already have the n1tc needle...

 

I put the pipe on because I like the sound. The price doesn't mater to me and the noise is less than 99db which is the magic number around here and frankly I don't care what you think. Sorry.
