Took the beast for a long ride a few days back and had an absolute blast. The seat is a bit hard on the *** after a few hours, not sure what I'm gonna do about that at this stage. The bike handled very well and I'm looking forward to taking it deeper into my secret jungle but will have to take extra fuel. The bike is starting to rev easier into the 6000rpm range which is great asI have now done about 1200kms. Im looking forward to adding some better tyres very soon and a pelican box for the back rack.

I think it been proven that too much cleaning can be hazardous [sm=smiley34.gif]to your bike. [sm=sorry.gif] Deej I just could'nt resist. What other tires are you thinking of? From the picture looks like you will be doing some river crossing and some slimmy trail riding.After doing some reading about Michelin Trials tire I might venture that way next set of tires. Right now I just installed Kenda Trakmaster 2 and I am very impressed with their gripping ability in the slippery muddy roots and rocks, noisey on the road but way WAY better than the stock IMO.

 

i just put the trakmaster on... and dont notice any noise over stock/606/ 270..... but it could be the big gun blasting in my ear....
