EvildoerZX10R,

If I'm not mistaken, the "King of the Gap" rides a KTM SuperDuke 640 set up as a supermotard.

I've seen him go around sportbikes on the inside, outside or wherever he decides to.

The guy is awesome on the road.

Now, a 331 cc KLX as a supermoto will make the "Gap" a place to really enjoy. You won't have enough power to slide the rear tire or lift the front end in a curve. Besides, with sportbike tires on the bike, you will be surprised at just how far they will lean over!

Ya I have seen the guy on the KTM he is awesome! There are lots of guys up there with supermotos that don't slide them but they still look fun! I rode with some of them and I get in there way on the corners and they get in my way on the exits. I really can't keep a good rhythm when I ride with them but it is crazy how they go ***** out into a corner no breaks at all just wide open. I though I was fast up there but I have been handed my a$$ a few times on lots of different kinds of bikes.

Go down to a 13T on the front. It's easier and cheaper and you don't need a new chain. Helps a ton on the tighter trails ! And the jet mods are an easy afternoon, cheap, and effective.
