13T Front Sprocket Speed?

13T Front Sprocket Speed?
Was thinking about adding a 13T front sprocket to KLX 250s. I would like to get some more low end grunt, but still need highway speeds. What kind of top speed can I expect from changing the front sprocket to a 13T? I Have no plans on changing the rear sprocket. How much will this modification change my speedo? Also, wanted to know what the RPM range will be also? (13/42T)

if the top speed on a stock klx250s is 75 mph...you'll get blown away by a prius on the highway....if you are reducing your front sprocket, you'll reduce your highend even more...so, you'll get blown away by a 250 scooter on the highway...

When I had my 13 tooth on I actually could get to and maintain highway speeds better but it was around 500+ rpms higher at any given speed. I now run the 15 tooth to lower rpms since I mostly commute at the moment. Its a little harder to maintain speed if there is a head wind though unless i tuck for aerodynamics

i noticed same...front sprocket change is about 500 to 600 rpm +/-....and, if 1 size in front is equal to 3 in back sprocket....going up or down 3 sprockets on rear is about 500 to 600 rpm +/-
