Search in this forum. Many threads on it, you just have to sort through the crap to find the info. I bought the Moose brand 13th specifically for our bike from a local Parts unlimited dealer ( most Motorcycle shops are Parts Unlimited dealers)

Welcome to the forum! if you read the above link to the question, I'm sure that it will help you.

Be sure that you really flatten the almost invisible washer (behind the nut) on the factory counter sprocket! I used a small gauge drift pin punch and went all the way around to make certain that the washer was really flat. Then the counter shaft gear will come off fairly easily.

happy trails,

If you take a look at this five page thread you'll see a lot of the now senior members who ventured down the 13 tooth CS route long before you. Remember that the torque setting is only 92 ft lbs and that it's Righty Tighty Lefty loosey! (on standard threads)

Many of them had a whole bunch of trouble with the removal of the original CS. Some of them even had trouble reading simple forum instructions!! Maybe it was the Corona's??

Really a good read and educational as well. Have fun, and remember, the CS change is really worth it if you do any dirt riding!!

Thats all I do is dirt and sand here in east Texas. I put some D 606s on and they are taller and changed the gear ratio alot. The 13 should get it back and then some. Thanks for the info. Rick
