'13 KLX250s Light Bulb , 80/100
Ok, a friend gave me a light bulb so I would stop complaining about how i see nothing at night. He got me a 80/100, is this too much for the stock wiring or am I good to go? just plug and play? thanks!

Wish I could tell you for sure but my only experience is for cars. Typically these types of bulbs run hotter and can melt plugs or wiring harnesses right behind the bulb. The wiring quality seems to be decent on our bikes but I've never ran a bulb like that before. I wanted better lighting so I choose a Silver Star Ultra and had great results, wattage is the same as factory though.
I'd run run the bike for 15 to 20 minutes with it on high beam with the stock bulb and monitor the connector behind the bulb, then run the other bulb for 20 minutes and see if it's noticeably hotter. If it's unbearably hot to the touch that might be to much. That's my guess. Hope it helps.

Dunno about your wiring, I'd be concerned about switches and lenses. Your money, your call.
