@BleednGreen68, I find that if I layer up with thermal underwear and windblocking street gear outer shell (as I would for sledding or snow boarding) that I am warm enough with just the grips. Adrenaline from riding in the snow does the rest; no other heated gear needed!

There is a 12V plug underneath my coolant tank. Not sure what it is intended for, but it was an exact match for the quick disconnect on the cheapo portable compressor that I carry on my bike. I checked my wife's CRF230L, and it has an identical plug in the same location.

@IDRIDR: The heavier gauge brown wire that feeds both fuses in the fuse box is connected directly back to the ignition switch. The Oxford heated grips draw max 3.6A so I installed a 5A fuse where I tapped the brown wire and ran that to power the grips. No worries!

Me too; live to work. I will take a look too. I have a 12v outlet but I may need more than one hookup for power and am thinking about a aux fuse block of some sort.
