You have an electrical problem. Starting fluid is highly explosive. How did you check for spark at the plug?

Kick stand switch??? Clutch switch???

There is a electrical connector next to the carb on left side of bike that is 'disturbed' when messing in carb area. Look for broken ground wire.

Is your gas turned on? Yes stupid question but have seen friends fight a bike an hour before noticing fuel was off.

I had the same problem with my '12 after installing a dynojet kit, but not as bad as yours. Mine will start eventually, as long as it is warm out. If I pull it out of the garage (which is cooler than outside) and it won't start, I let it sit in the sun a few minutes and it fires right up, using the choke. Sounds crazy, but that's what works for me. I've had to drift start it a few times on cooler days, have you tried that?

Then you have eliminated it being a fuel problem. You must have pinched a wire, disconnected a wire, your kill switch is off or something else happened. I would retrace your steps and look at everything you did (not fuel or carb related). I bet when you find it you will be surprised at how simple it was. Good luck.

I finally caved and took the bike to the shop. They ended up changing the main to DJ124, not the DJ120 that dynojet recommended. Grrrr...

Also they had to drill out the pilot jet; I think that was the one. Dynojet never mentioned that in the 2152 directions. Google it and see for yourself.

The tech noted afterwards that DJ kits are finicky in CO for KLXs and they get a lot of guys after they fail to get it done at home. Anyhow, they replaced a few screws that I stripped and figured out the jetting all for $100. Not too happy I had to drop a hundo, but it is what it is. The new DG O-Series pipe is on, snorkel removed and I am in business. Huge difference in throttle response and now an exciting bike to ride!!!

My guess is they drilled the starter jet which is a common mod discussed a lot on the forum as the pilot is easily removable and replaced. If screws were stripped you may have not had things as tight as they should have been either, oh well, sounds good now so ride it like you stoled it

It very well could have been the starter that they drilled. I've started the bike a few times since and it starts like a champ. No choke!
