100 miles on the 351 kit.
I used a combo of traditional and mototune's methods of break in.
Took it in the woods today, the bike is freakin awesome. Runs great.
Definitely gotta gear it up (12t front). I was hitting 5th and 6th in the woods. 6th has more pull than 4th did with the 250. I'm thinking two more teeth in the front.
I had a doof moment though, this morning, started it up, idled for a few mins, then shut off. Couldn't get it started again.. Then it did start, but for only a min. Kept putting and struggling to stay alive.
Thought for sure something was fudged..
Nope, I'm a dumass and ran the tank dry. Switched it to reserve and the bastard started right up...
DOOooooofffff
So I did 50 miles today, everything from street to dirt hill climbing, to fire/logging roads. The bike is so freakin wonderful now. I just hope it's as reliable as the 250 was and I hope it lasts me a long time.

Had a 300 jug but sold it to get Bill's 351 kit.
Sounds like you need to call Bill for help?
Larry,
Glad to see everything turned out with your build!
Bet your cheeks hurt from that big grin under your helmet now...

Oh yes.. Put the stock front sprocket back on today. So I'm running stock gearing - I know it's 14t up front but not sure offhand what back is.
It still lifts the wheel in second with just throttle, but it's also still winding out pretty fast.
I haven't brought the RPM's up much higher than probably 8k or so because it's still a baby... But I'm thinking it's not even doing much up there.
I'm going to experiment with some different gears, but first I definitely want to get the A/F dialed spot in - anyone know what I should shoot for? Or should I just get the bike running and adjust the fuel screw the old fashioned way?
