Default 09 Suspension Setup

Just got my 09 and I want to firm the suspension some, I am 180 and ride a lot in the NJ sand. I checked the owners manual and it does not ever say which way to turn the adjuster screws to firm up the suspension. Anyone have any tips or know where I can find info on how to adjust it?

At 180 my guess is to turn it to 12 front and rear.....

Go counter clockwise to reset and go 12 clockwise clicks to start with......Should get ya to a happy medium.......

Really doesnt matter with your new bike....Ride the **** outta of it and the fun you will have you will forget about seat comfort.....

Your tool kit that came with the bike, or a "blunt" screwdriver. Be careful not to hit the threads.

I used these settings for the shock and it worked real well. Need to upgrade springs, although fork settings were OK.
