09+ speedometer adjustment

09+ speedometer adjustment
Does anyone know of a way to adjust the electronic speedometer on a 09 KLX250s. Mine reads about 11% high?
Would a sensor from a KLX250sm reduce the reading too much?
I found this adjuster online but question if it will work on our bikes.

yeah, my '09 is 10% over all the time (checked by GPS). I think they all are. Think of it as a (no)speeding ticket safety. It's pretty easy to subtract 10% to know how fast you're really going. I wouldn't waste any money to "fix" this issue.

I have used the Speedohealer on my 954RR and VFR800 with great success. They make one specifically for the KLX.

I have this one, 12oClockLabs $79 and it is plug n play for the KLX.
Works perfect. I have had it for over a year now.

I found the p/ns for the speedometer sending unit for KLX250s and KLX250sf are the same, however the meters have different p/ns.
Is it possible there is an adjustment screw inside the meter.
I doubt they build a different meter for the sf. Its probably the same meter, just calibrated differently.
I may go with the 12oclocklabs calibrater, But want to make sure the stock meter is not adjustable first.
