OK, so what you are saying that the 09 in the second picture, the one that looks just like mine, came from the factory with a klx 300 header?

The second shot is an AUS spec 09 with a Pro Circuit slip on. The 09 comes factory with a KLX300R header here in AUS
Put a photo of yours up.

hey OZ you said that pic was fitted for a pro circuit exhaust, what did you use to seal up the gap between them. Because mine even with the 300 header there was still about a 1/4" that it could have slid in more.

Yeah, that's exactly what my header looks like. Thanks for the post. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait until Tuesday to get the 2-bros. when the bike shop opens up. They're closed Sunday and Monday.

The shot of the 09 was at a local dealership. Not my bike. The mechanic fitted it up for a customer.

What do you think WestOz? 300 or 250?

no, he's got a US model. your Aus. model has the 300 header stock. He needs to remove the part and install the 2bros. and he's good to go. BTW, Mark, the 2bros. is a good setup. I'd think of installing one on my bike if that was my only option. good luck.

Yeah, that's the plan for now. I got the 2-bros M-7 for a little over $300.00 from the shop that sold me the KLX. I'll ride that way for a while and see how it goes. I'm sure it will be better than stock! My mods went without a hitch thanks to all the help from the forum. This bike is SO easy to work on compared to my BMW.

Do you know what all they had to do to make it fix better cause with mine I bought the 300 header and no matter what I did it didnt slid in all the way. I just put some RTV on but I'm still having problems with decel popping that I haven't been able to get rid of, Im waiting on a different pilot jet to see if that helps. I think this exhaust looks hot on a kawi!!
