Well Deel, you gotta admit, on a scale of 1 to 10 an "09 rack" is worth a look.

These guys are popular in NZ and have had 09 KLX250S rack system available since November!

The first rack listed says it can accomodate stock tool bag , yet it is using the back two mounts for the tool bag it appears. The second rack just looks to small and not as structurally strong. I'm hoping Kawasaki will release a stock rack after the first of the year. The on from cycleracks.com is nice. Looks strong however the down tubes look like they would interfere throwing your leg over the bike to get on. What to choose.....

I just ordered one of these racks in from sr8dirt off of ebay for my 09. I will let you know how it looks when it comes in.

If the stock tool bag can still mount up, I'd be interested in one for sure. Could actually haul stuff home easier. Keep us informed john!

Kawasaki sells a rack in Japan only for the KLX250s but is it worth $145 (including shipping)
It makes you wonder if there are other accessories/options available only in Japan?
