Default Hf112

Just be careful- I got the WIX cross over and the bypass valve diameter was bigger-the rest of the filter was the same. The spring may have pushed the bypass valve open- giving you zero filtration. I got a high-flo HF 112 (I think that was the #) Its identical to the oem.

I tried the NAPA Gold filter 4944, does not work on 09'.
Dealership price was only a few cents more.

I remember looking at the fiche on the kawi site to see if the 09 used the same filter as the 07, which it did... I think. (probably worth rechecking).

The 09 filter is differant than the 07 according to Advance its the same for some reason but kawi told me differant

well gotta head out soon so i will stop by the bike shop and get a new filter once in hand i will ask them to look up an 07 to see if the part number comes back the same?

but then again....... maybe 09 filter superceds the 07. meaning the 09 will fit the 07 but the 07 will not fit the 09

Good lord people don't you have access to the internet, parts are listed on Kawi's website as well as many others.

I looked it up for you guys...an 06 "my bike" ... and an 09 "you non-web searching bastids" ...has the same part number for the oil filter #52010-1053

So if any of you guys got a 06-07 filter that did not fit an 09....it would not have fit the 06-07 either...lol.
