Default 09 mods, I need to find a 13T front sprocket

Heya peoples,
well I ordered a full muzzy for an 06 to put on my 09, and the Dynojet kit 2206, and the K&N filter & cap, and some fibre header wrap I am going to try just because I have it laying around anyway, but now I can't find a 13T front sprocket for my bike.....Asking the dealer & he asked are they the same as the 06 klx? my answer was Uummmm I dunno! So my question to all you resident experts is what should I order for the sprocket ie. manufacutrer & part Number would help a bunch
Other than that I am just waiting for the toys to show up...Talk about pricey for an complete exhaust! The custom LMS exhaust on my Lincoln Mark VIII was cheaper!
Thanks a bunch

See this link for some info....

db

edit: Uh Oh, didn't see the 2009 part till I posted. Someone with a 2009 will have to verify....

edit 2: I just checked the part numbers for the 2006/07 against the 2009 and the transmission output shaft and sprocket part numbers are different. But you know how that goes. Could work but somebody will need to verify

we've been over this already with the '09. I even posted the same pic as someone else did of my new 13-toother. I don't know why this is so hard for some. Just buy a sprocket for the XR650L or Ninja 250 and bolt it on.[&o]

the search feature is instant information whereas if you start a thread like this you'll have to wait. use the search, it's a gold mine.

Damn Travis, why do you have to always be so condescending?

Not everyone reads the forum every day. Not everyone is as computer savvy as you are. You don't need to constantly point out how superior you are.

Next time, try "the sprocket from the 19xx-200x XR65L or Ninja 250 are direct replacements", and "in case you haven't noticed, there is a nifty search engine on this forum that can provide instaneous results for most questions".

Many people here see questions that have been answered over and over. Instead of constantly being a dick about it, they simply politely give the same answer again for the benefit of the one who is asking. If the fact that the same questions keep getting asked (and answered) is bugging you, stop reading the forum.

wow, I see it's that time of the month for you two, eh?

baredog- namecalling makes you look so mature buddy. Ironically, Forrest Gump is my all-time favorite movie.

Actually point of order, Iowa have you actually installed said 13 tooth on your 09 klx yet? Last post I saw was that your girl was not heavy enough to hold the brake an pop it off.

BS is what it is ..... but actual experience is golden. Should it work.... yes.....but lets just post results....so has anyone put a 13 tooth on an 09 yet. Not a tough question, is it?

sorry about posting something I don't know about, but all I wanted was a spec year, make & model to order not the drama(understanding what happens on a forum is undeniable) nevertheless I just need numbers I kind of thought that was why we had forums?
And that "wonderful" Search turns up Squat! try it for yourself!
I don't have a lot of time to **** around, so I figured with the helpful people on here it would not be a big deal.
I know the I help out lots of people on the lincolnvscadillac forum wheather a question has been asked 1 or 100 times it is just simpler to answer the quick question and let the thread die in peace!

Well if you just go to the sticky "Common Part Thread" you'll see a sprocket specialist part number posted on the first post....but that is for a 06-07 klx...will it work on an 09 I don't know, but the info is there.....so if you don't have time to **** around just buy the 06 part and see if it works.....otherwise ya'll have to wait till someone tries it....why don't you go first and tell us.
