09 levers

09 levers
I've got some bent up levers on my 09 klx250S. I'm looking for aftermarket levers and not sure which will work. The stock ones are too big I prefer 3 finger. I found a previous post that sombody had mounted the Zeta pivot levers. They look like exactly what I want. But when I check Zeta's web site they only fit the 98-07. Is there any differance in the 09? has any one found a good fit for 09 levers?
I like the Zeta armor handguards too, and will buy them to protect the new levers.

I'm surprised your levers bent... I dropped my bike the first day I had it and snapped the pot-metal lever in two. What you can do is, cut off the ends of the stock levers and file the edges off smooth (no cuts on fingers). I've trimmed my stock levers pretty short to deal with the shorter bars / handguards. I still use four fingers on 'em, though.

I bent the stock levers too, today I used my buddy Mr.Dremel and zipped off the ends before putting on my Acerbis Rally Pros, beautiful! (Did the same to the levers on my Bandit with black levers and Barkbusters)

Thanks for the feedback. I'm definatly getting some guards to protect the levers. I think I'll try the Zeta levers too. They look way better than the stockers, clean and uncut. Now I just have to make up my mind to go with the Zeta handguards, or Acerbis. To many decesions!
Oh, they have a skid plate on http://www.wheelingcyclesupply.com/a...ents/156.shtml too! I need one of those too.
Too many accessories, not enough money! Story of my life.
