Default '09 KLX250SF SUMO tire and rim size?

I have the SF and I am wondering if anyone has tried to fit a 150 tire on the rear yet. I am sure ya gotta have a wider rim to do it but will the tire fit? The 140 looks like an easy fit but I'd like to go bigger if I can. . .

in not sure about the sf's, but on my s i could only fit a 130/90/18, and that was close.

Some people say a 150 will fit, but looking at mine I think it is too close to the swingarm. When I get new tires I will get 140 for the rear.

I just got a new front (went with the 120) but they did'nt have any 140s. The only sumo tire they had in their catalog are the ones that come stock on the DRZ sumo and the rear was listed @ $233! So I passed on it. I would love to fit a 150 but I too am worried about the clearance and I will probily have to buy a wider rim hoop.

I've got a 120 front and 140 rear with no clearance issues at all. But, looking at the rear, I don't see how you could wedge a 150 in there.

I'm running Dunlop D253s - super sticky on the track and street, heat up quick. I don't expect a long life, but that's why I have a separate touring bike!

So no clearance for the 150? Damn, at least I will not have to buy another rim to fit a 140 though.
