Default 09 Fenderectomy photos wanted!

hello,

new to the forum, GREAT source of information for the new (and old) KLX250S owner.

I have an 09 and I am seriously considering chopping the big ugly rear fender off and/or replacing it with something smaller like the acerbis enduro fender, etc. If anyone has done something similar and is willing to post a pic of the results that would be excellent. thanks

Jim

Welcome to the forums!

I did a write-up on my hack-job and signal tuck, view my profile and click on stats, then view threads I've started. Here's a pic:

I just bought a rear tail light/plate holder assembly for the KTM, and thought of it when I see posts about the 09.

I think it might work to make that rear fender look pretty good. It dosn't have a plate light, but I am going to use those plate light bolts as a light to get the inspection.
And the price is crazy, I bought it here in Canada for $35

The plate pretty much catches most everything, and what makes it up and over, doesn't come forward beyond the little black piece behind the green plastic. Although it doesn't take much now to completely obscure the plate and the light
