3.5 gal and clear. I don't ever really care if it blocks the choke at this point... Where I ride I need the extra capacity, and can't do a 351 kit/ pumper carb till I get it.
Till then I reckon I'll keep riding my DRZ with the big IMS tank, or strapping some MSR bottles to the rear rack of the KLX so I can make it home.
You know how dorky I feel bumming some fuel from a guy on a KTM

I had a plated KDX220 (stolen), and a plated KTM 200EXC. There is a guy here in Tallahassee with a plated KX125.

Can you get the Acerbis 3.7 gallon tank in red for that bike? I have the green one on my 2006 and love it. People who don't have this tank whine about trapping some fuel in the wings but it's really not what they make it out to be. Mine runs 2.8 gallons before it even hits reserve so there isnt much left in the wings and if you do run completely out, you can lean the bike over and use most of the remaining fuel too. It was a straight bolt in with no fan removal or any sort of relocation.

Craigslist had a kx500 street legal awhile back, and a couple cr500's that were plated about a yr ago. There was one for sale in the mc parking lot of the community college for sale nearby.
Next one I see even my wife said to buy it. The look people will give when they see a 2 stroke on the street will be worth it. Long live the 2 strokes!
