Exclamation 09/07 Fork guards.

Just wanted to get some info'. Does anyone who owns an 07 and an 09 know if the fork guards off the 09 will fit on the 07? A close fit with a little cutting would be acceptable to me. Anyone who has both models wanna offer up the guard to get an idea?

WOK, can you get UFO stuff in Aus? Those KX guards from UFO that Dan888 put me on to have been great. They're made of much harder impact plastic...like what the fenders are made of...and I think they look great too. They're also a ton cheaper.

The factory replacement fork guard become very brittle. Many have had success with the UFO guards. Just find some you think look good and you can drill the mounting holes to make them work.

The UFO plastic is very flexible, my stock guards cracked after a couple years.

For you guys that are using the UFO guards, how are you fitting the brake line and the speedo' cable to the new guards. Any issues there? Post some pics if you have em. I'd appreciate that.

You don't need to do anything with the brake line, just run it through the hole in the slider. For the speedo, I just kept it in the fender guide, and that was it. You can put an eyelet on the slider, but I don't think you need to.
