Default 07 rack on 09?

Will the rear rack fit? I'm looking at part #53029-1146 and wondering if it'll fit the 09 model. 70 bucks from Ron Ayers.

Or would my $70 be spent on a better rack from someone else?

Don't say CycleRacks those things are hideous.

Well? An OEM rack and cheaper than aftermarket. I want one for my 2010.

Don't think that rack will fit (without some modification). The rear ends are slightly different.
Precision Motorcycle Racks (PMR) has a similar rack that will fit.

PMR also has the rack built to fit one of those quick release gallon gas containers. The rack can be had around $80 range.

The Rotopax fuel container is about $80 for the mount and the container. A bit pricey for a gallon container, but far cheaper than a big fuel tank. Good part too is doesn't always have to be on the bike and if you have to put fuel into someone else's bike far easier to do. That's my plan of attack, do the rack and gas set up.
