'06 KLX250S What Upgrades to Make?

I've used that Maxxis front tire with great results, and the rear has just as many great reviews. The only reason I didn't go back to a front/rear set of them is that they are not DOT. That's almost never a problem in the real world, but on a couple of occasions I have been checked by a ranger in Canyonlands north and south in Utah. These are national parks and maybe a little more attentive or at least **** about it. I've been in national parks dozens of times over the years with dual sport bikes and have only been asked about DOT ratings twice, so the exposure is limited.

I don't expect much attention will be paid to my tire choice on this one. ;p
