02 wideband sensor

02 wideband sensor
Setup the the 02 sensor and took a video of idle and reving around 3-6k in neutral.
Don't have a go pro or anything to capture the meter during the ride, but ill leave my observations
My Bike Details:
-25k mileage
-Stock motor
-Jetted carb, Dyno jet needle, DJ116 main, 38 pilot, 2.5 turns out
-Dirty old air filter
-Installed a small nozzle on the air suction valve
Observations:
1) runs rich when choke is on 10-12
2) slowly gets lean around 15-16 on a "long decel" (without downshifting)
3) runs between 12-15 shifting up/speeding up (most of the entire ride its between 12-14.5)
4) not sure how accurate the first few readings are when the bike is starting to warm up, when its warmer the numbers look a little better.
the first two are the more problematic observations... over all happy with the meter it feels good to monitor the carb while riding.
heres a new video:
Motor sounded like it was ticking towards the end, I adjusted the idle screw in the video (around 3:40) ...sped up the idle and it when away. The throttle cable and plate also was not attached in the video.
also feel like I might have a little knocking ...I might just be over worrying the sounds
Pic of the air suction valve nozzle, I'm not sure if this does anything the purpose is to handle unburnt fuel.
lol pic of the 02 sensor wire , the wire was too long b/c its for cars.. I need to cut it shorter.

Is there any way you can do a WOT run in 4th, starting from 4k rpm, to redline - and get a recording of the AFR data ?
PS .... To do this, you'll need a 1/8 mile section of a dead end road with no cops around..

sure yeah ill try it.
I'm thinking maybe I can tape my iPhone to my helmet for now lol
so just be rolling in 4th @ 4k then floor it to red line?

You really need to plug the air injection in the exhaust to be able to get an accurate reading from the wide-band. Steady state throttle will give you the best info on what jetting changes should be made.

Oh yeah - you are going to have to completely plug the air injection system - or remove it and then plug the remaining hose nipples... This is to insure that air cannot get into the exhaust flow messing up your readings..

I usually have the air suction valve plugged I had this little hose on it to try to get rid of the gas smell I've been having.
I can swap back for the test ride.
