***Full blown Ride report with too many pics***
I just don't have time to post 65 pics and a full writeup right now, but I will soon. Just thought I would post a couple of teaser pictures to get you interested in the "rest of the story"
Loaded up the night before.

Wow, for a second there I actually thought I saw mud on your bike. I'm glad I was wrong...
Lookin' good deej! What do you have, an 8 foot bed on that truck? I can't close the tailgate when I load my bike on my silverado. It would be nice to have that ability.

Yea full 8 ft bed, and extra cab. And that mud was on my bike, for 24 hrs. I was too tired to clean it yesterday when I got home, so I hid it in shame in the garage.

Ok I might as well do this while the wife is taking a nap or watching her cooking shows. So the story is that there is this place we usually go camping every year on this weekend, but this year we just were not into it. Its at a friends house in Sequim Wa. Well one of my buddies sent me a picture of him sitting by the fire and so I decided to load up the truck and head in on Friday morning for just an over night. So in some sort of order here goes.
Sequim is an hour and a half from Forks, so I threw in a sleeping bag just in cast I decided to stay which I did.
Here are a few pics of the drive there. The weather was as perfect as its ever been on this weekend, and man was it ever nice out.
6:00 am about 30 miles out of town, the fog was really cool with the sun trying to poke out.
Making sure the bike is still in the back.
40 miles out of town
Coming up on Lake Crescent, man it was nice out. These pics are all so far from the Blackberry, but I got some good quality ones on the regular Olympus camera later.
I actually like ride reports with less talking and more pics, so from now on I'm gonna try and keep it short or less.
Stopping for a coffee break.
1/4 mile from the property
Ole's bike, some of you might remember it from my Canada trip.
I'm gonna have to break this up into like 4 posts since we are limited to just 20 pictures in each post including smileys

Ok where was I? Oh yea, Ole and I decide to do some riding, first stop is the bike shop.
Found this, pretty cool.....for a motard bike.
So we finished looking at all the stuff we can't afford and I was walking out to get on the bike and this guy passes us, and I look at him and say.."hey don't I know you?" And he says "probably."
Turns out its the one of the guys off the show AX Men, and of course I had to get a pic, and as you can see I was distracted. Here is a link to him and the show, I thought it was pretty cool, especially since I talked to him on the CB a week or so ago while coming around the lake to pick up a furnace in Port Angeles.
AX Men link>>> CLICK HERE
He's the one in the middle.
This was all on Friday, and there was plenty of riding to be had on Saturday. This one was more street than dirt, but some of both which will be here shortly.
We decided to ride out on the Spit that creates the bay in Port Angeles. Man was it windy. you have to actually travel through a paper mill to get there.
As you look at these next 3 or 4 pictures, keep in mind that as far as you can see up the mountains without getting into the snow is where I will end up on Saturday, and what a view!!!
Continuing down the spit
Ole on the phone as usual. Man I thought I was bad with the Blackberry.
Ok so we were waiting for the other 2 guys to show up, which took them till 7:00 PM!!! Come on guys, I came to ride.
So we thought it would be nice to get some riding in before it got dark. Besides Ole had to leave in the morning for a flight to Texas, so this was the only opportunity.
One of the riders just picked up this 1979 Honda 185, which was awesome, he was a great rider and kept up with everyone, in fact we had to try and keep up with him at times.
More to come, the wife just called and said the washer broke down, so I'll brb

It was the door switch, I bypassed it and we are back in business. That reminds me I think I'm going to do that to my kickstand switch. I digress, back to the report.
This was Denver telling the wife that this was the only time he could go riding and not to cry.
The Access trail, look at the signs, you just don't see signs that say
Alright let's do this before it gets dark, the 185 didn't have a working headlight, but we fixed that before riding again on Saturday.
More pictures and less talking
The fog was rolling in so you can't see it too well, but on Saturday I got some good pics from even higher up.
That's it for Friday, a little riding in the morning, some more late and back to the camp where there was plenty of good food and conversations.
More to come on Saturday's ride report.

Ok
so it was time to do some off road riding! About 5 miles away was a place that Garland (other KLX
rider and Canada trip guy) rides all the time, although it had been a few years sine he was up there. This is still Friday, more to come for Saturday! The Access trail, look at the signs, you just don't see signs that say

Ok Saturday around 10am we headed out for some more trouble.
Heading through town
getting closer, plus we picked up another rider on a 2 smoke. He was in a truck behind us. Man I love dual sports, no trucking....well except me trucking mine an hour and a half, but that's different.
You can see Robbie in the trailing vehicle. Another Dodge! Its not easy taking pictures while doing 50 down the road. LOL
Time to unload the 2 smoke.
If you look way down you can actually see the spit Ole and I rode on the day before (Friday) The view up here was nothing less than spectacular!
Riding wears you out on tight single track, this was one of our unscheduled breaks.
Here is the only picture you see of me for the day, I guess I was the only one to bring a camera.
Valley view..
One more set coming in a few.
