"BARKBUSTERS"

RE: "BARKBUSTERS"
Those would be any brand of handguard that has an aluminum bar that connects from either the middle of the bars or the triple clamp, wraps around and then is inserted into the end of the bars again.
None of the wraparound will fit the stock bars unless you do some drilling to remove the welded in weights on the inside of the bars.
Typically most people replace the bars with a nice aluminum set and whichever handguards you prefer, some just go with the aluminum bar and no plastic guard.
I personally used www.rockymountainatv.com 's store brand, Tusk, aluminum 7/8" bars and their Tusk D-flex handguards with optional tall spoiler, $90 shipped for everything.

There are many hand guards on the market. They are mostly a universal fit with different mounting options for various needs. They are made by Cycra, Acerbis, Moose, Tusk, Fastway, Enduro Engineering and probably many more. I personally like the Cycra guards with the triple clamp or solution mount because they are very strong and won't twist on the bars.

The 'barkbusters' brand are excellent - but will not fit on the standard bars unless you buy the triple mount kit (which comes at a cost). I used this as an opportunity to tell the wife i needed new bars - which ended up being pro tapers SE in KX high bend.
Since then i have crashed the bike (havent ridden for two weeks now - i am still bruised and sore) - the barkbusters are great and really saved my controls.
You may also note that if you change the bars you will need to cut the grips off, then clean the throttle tube with contact cleaner and use brute force to put the grips on.

Re: "barkbusters"
I fitted them to the stock bars, they are a complete pain to fit but they were working. But then I fitted Renthals and the triple clamp kit [8D]ahhhhh much better
