Please, get some pics up. If you could, take a snap shot of the instrument cluster. Kawasaki website doesn't show a pic of it.

I've beening thinking on trading up from my KLX250 to the KLR650. Put then again, the KLX is probably better suited to the rough terrain.

What kind of riding are ya planing on doing?I was thinking about a KLX also but one freind of mine that got one can't get over 100 miles out of his tank!KLR you'll get at least200-250+ before refils!!
I've taken mine thru some rough terrian lately and no promblems!Got crash bars coming too!!!

It would have been mostly commute riding with some highway and trail riding. After thinking about it even further and going to the some dealership's. I'm keeping the KLX. It maybe a little underpowered for high speeds above 50mph. But its so nimble on the road and on the trail. Thou 90 miles before RES does suck.

hey, just wanted to let learjetmilanko in on some info. despite the bulky size the 650 is amazingly nimble in and out off the twists and turns, on and off road, altough offroad takes a little riding time to build the confidence up in the bike, but it don't take long to realize the bike will do it .
