Z750 backfire on deceleration after mods, is it normal!?
Hello Forum,
In a bit of a pickle with this one because I'm really unsure if the problem is actually in fact, a problem!
Bought a 2005 z750 last year, timing was off so had it synced, then installed a Pipe Werx exhaust and K&N air filter and at the start of the season this year, I had the standard 30km service done. Kawasaki mech. confirmed everything's fine. Bike has stable idle, no loss of power, running better than ever however, when coming off the throttle after a blast or changing down and engaging the clutch again at low speeds (especially in 2nd), the can is pip popping all over the show!
With the Kwaq Mech. telling me everything's kosher at service, I'm unsure if there's actually a problem and if it's all normal given the air filter and exhaust mods!?... Maybe I'm just flapping!?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
