RE: Posting pics
One of the easiest ways to edit and resize for FREE is to download Picasa on google's site. Picasa once was a PAY to use program, but google bought it from whoever owned the right to it, and made it available for free. It is way easier to use than windows paint by a long shot, and it can compress or resize your pictures.
I highly recommend it! Here's the link:

RE: Posting pics
I guess photobucket is how I post most of my pics on this forum. With photobucket, you don't have to worry about file size because you're only showing a picture of the link of your photobucket account.
And it's FREE too!

RE: Posting pics
Some people are wary of d/l'ing or utilizing programs they haven't used before. I don't find MS Paint hard to use at all, and virtually everyone has it. You just open the image in Paint, click image on the topmost toolbar, select stretch/skew, and enter say... 50% in both the Height and Width fields if you want your image to be half the size it currently is. You adjust your percentages based on how large or small you want it. I use it to make all my icons and whatnot. You can type in 100+ percentages if you want to enlarge a picture, but MS is so basic you'll usually end up with something pixellated, in which case you may want to use Photoshop or Picasa or whatever and well, can't help ya there.

RE: Posting pics
Picasa or MS office photo viewer are the two programs I use most for resizing and touch-ups. I absolutely HATE Microsoft paint. Adobe photoshop is also nice, but it's not for the average user.
