Default 2000 Kawasaki ZR750

Hi, i'm new to this site. I just purchased a 2000 ZR750F and that's my First bike ever, i've never ridden anything with two wheels or three wheels before and didn't know how to ride one until last week . , except my Cars. Well, I had it for a week now and I just painted it red, it was orginally dark green and purple (2 tones) Anyways, the light on my bike is in round shape and i'm not really kissing it. I've been calling Kawasaki dealerships in my area and asked them if there's any after market front fairing for the bike or lights that I can change to but they say NOT SURE. I want to change the light to something else other than circle, and I'm wondering if there's a full front fairing that I can get to cover the bike up. It is currently Naked as it is a naked bike. If what I asked sounds stupid and impossible then I apoligize cause this is my first time owning a bike.

Also, the bike didn't come with a manual so I have NO idea what maintenance or tune up that I need to follow up to keep the bike in good shape.

Advices are much appreciated.

Importantly, I want to dress the bike up right now. I really hope there is a Upper and lower fairing and after market lights that I can get for the bike. I think it doesn't look good being naked at all. I mean sometime naked is .......The BOMB but not the bike

lol.....

Welcome to the forums.... I have no idea on that bike man... I would think the frame and most parts and etc would be interchangeable with a similar bike of similar year, but I am only guessing.

Congrats on the ride. Make sure you gear up...Enjoy man!!

Congrats on your new bike.

I'm new to the forum as well and new to owning a streetbike. Bought an 03 ZR7S with838 miles on it 2 months ago. Now have 1450 miles on it. You can get the upper fairings, but not sure of a full fairing for this bike.

I bought my owner's manual online at Kawasaki.com and it was $25 bucks. It has a lot of useful info for a newbee like me. Shows you enough to get your hands dirty adjusting chain, clutch, shocks and other stuff. For more info on this specific bike go to this site.http://www.riderforums.com/

Enjoy your new bike.

You could ask your dealer about it. I got mine for free.
